Fran Allison is fundraising for Cancer Research UK
For extra motivation on the running - and in 'thanks' that the people close to me who have had cancer are all fit and well, I'm taking part in the Race for Life at Cleethorpes on Sunday 3rd July. My colleague and friend, Sue is running it with me and we will be in fancy dress - it's just too good an opportunity to miss. So our theme is PINK PUNKS! I'm so excited!
How things have changed since I started running just a few weeks ago when I was wheezing and coughing and willing my trainer laces to come undone just to give me an excuse to stop for a minute!
